2010 GS Vert
hello all, anyone that has a gs vert or any vert c6, how bad is the cowl shake? i have only owned a z and am trying to decide between a gs coupe and gs vert. the roads a crap here in pa so i dont want to get a vert if its going to shake all over like my current, non chevy car.
thanks for any information you can give.
im glad to hear that. thanks for the info.
thanks for the help. i decided on the convertible and got a good deal. the car drives and feels good overall. i have no regrets on the roadster.
Congrats on the new Roadster....I had a '09 Z51 Roadster and it was great....parted with it on Memorial Day....for the ONLY ride that would cause me to part with it....a Z06....(ZR1 out of my price range)....I do miss my Roadster....the top down adds to 'fun-factor' immensely....enjoy![]()
thanks orange09Ntexas. i had an 2009 z06 it is a great car. i do like the option of putting the top down.
Purchased a 2011 GS convertible 4 months ago and can honestly say there is no noticeable shudder if any. I traded in my 2010 Mustang GT convertible which would shudder with the littlest imperfection on the road. You needed to hold on tight if you hit a larger bump since it would be possible to loose control. Never regretted my decision to swap out vehicles. In this case GMC did a good job in re-reinforcing the chassis.
We got our 2010 GS Vert in August of last year, I've yet to experiance any of the shudder that you refer to. Excellent ride and handling all of the time. You won't be sorry with your choice!!
The only thing that you accomplish when you make something idiotproof, is breed a better grade of idiot,

Please be advised, the referenced was to a 2010 Ford Mustang GT V8. My corvette has never experienced any shudder issues, which you can also attest. I have owned many sports cars in my life, but this is the best.
