Replacement of Radio Antenna in 1993 40th

The Radio Antenna is not working on the car. Doesnt go up or down, You can hear it trying but the Atenna feels like its not connected to anything and you can pretty much pull it out.

How hard is it to replace the unit and anyone have luck doing so or have an easy way to do it?

if you hear the motor running then it sounds like the plastic cord is broke. do you have fsm. if not get one. the belt is fairly easy to change.
